Most organisations have been heavily disrupted through the Coronavirus outbreak resulting in many employees being displaced into Homeworking roles where possible. Initially there was a rapid response to get employees working from home by supplying equipment but often little regard to welfare / working environments.
There are many organisations where homeworking is becoming the ‘new normal’ indeed with many markets implying this could go on until next summer if not on a permanent basis. Therefore a method of regularly checking with employees to ensure they have the correct support both physical and mental is required.
Conversely there may situations where some employees need to be brought back into normal working environments such as Offices and additional consideration needs to be made around suitable environments to allow social distancing to be maintained.
