This ready-made task manager is super simple!

Created projects are presented conveniently as tiles, with counts of tasks at different statuses.

Inside the view of a project, tasks are listed in 3 main columns – Outstanding, Completed and Reviewed. This corresponds roughly to the 4 stages in the process, with both those that are “queued” and those “started” together in the first column (the latter highlighted blue).

From this project view, tasks can be pushed left and right to change the status of the task, in a manner similar to Kanban. Tasks in the Outstanding column can also be reordered to indicate priority. The tasks can be filtered across columns by an assignee dropdown.

The task view is clean and simple with the 4 stage progress and the description on the left. On the right is a custom conversation widget. It holds custom messages, attachments, pictures and some system notifications (including, for example, that the task has been edited.

You have one-click completion of the current stage. Alternatively, if you’ve created a subsequent project representing for example Sprint 7 then, in your Sprint 6 task, you can ‘Postpone’ it to the Sprint 7 project.

There is also functionality to record time against projects to half-day granularity. This is enabled per user. From within the view of a client, you can access a list of times allocated to their projects within any month.

As a bonus, it has the beginnings of facilitating client access. Client users can access the application read-only (besides commenting) and view progress on their own projects.
