This solution provides a mechanism to deliver a digital appointment booking system that helps organisations manage patient self-booking of appointments, in this case Phlebotomy / Blood Testing appointments.

The application was built in partnership with Velocity, one of Netcall’s trusted delivery partners, currently engaged with one of Netcall’s customers, University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) to help them develop and deploy low-code applications using Netcall’s Liberty Create low-code platform. The Trust is a Global Digital Exemplar (GDE), having been recognised as one of the most digitally advanced healthcare organisations in the country.

The Liberty Create platform provides UHS and Velocity with the capability to rapidly configure applications consisting of online forms, automated workflows, reporting and integration with third party systems using out-of-box connectors.
The aim of the application was to digitise the current phlebotomy appointment booking process and allowed UHS to fully replace the as-is process with a fully online appointment management system configured in Liberty Create.

As with all Accelerators / Applications, it can be utilised and enhanced in many different ways including security, content, styling and any underlying workflow / process.  There is constant opportunity for Netcall Community customers and partners including Velocity and UHS to further enhance the application capability in the future and share amongst peers via the Netcall Community AppShare.
